Contributing to the National Vision of improving Employability to develop a qualified talent pool and bridging the employability gap has been in the forefront of CII's charter. With the nation poised for rapid economic growth in the coming decade this has become an imperative need.
While the Academia has been working on improving the employability skills through various forums or partners, it is also the responsibility of the industry to move closer to the academia. However it has been observed that the SMEs have opportunities for students as placement, internship or projects but they find it difficult to reach out to the students through the academia. This clearly pointed out the need for a collaboration platform to bring the Industry Academia and the Students closer addressing skill gaps for the students and the process gaps for the SMEs. Thus the idea of Employability Bridge was born.
Employability Bridge brings the employers and educational institutions & students from engineering, arts & science, management into a single platform and collaborate with each other for mutual benefit.
